Turn it until desired time is reached. Then push knob back to the first position, or to the third position to set the time. Set the knob at the third position and check to see if the second hand stopped. Here's what I do: - Wind the watch completely. You'll have to unscrew the crown to do this, as you know. - Pull the crown to the first position and turn it "backwards" or "towards yourself" to advance the date to whatever it was yesterday. - When the second hand reaches 12, pull the crown out to the next position.
With a quick set movt, the safest option is to set the hands to 6.30 ( this is important) then use the push pull crown action to set the date to the day before the actual date. Then rotate the hands clockwise to set the correct date and time.
