You are welcome to complain about how a SA has spoken to you. Call up the store you were at and ask to speak to the manager to voice your complaint. Try to remember the day you went in and the name of who served you. However, it's quite normal for stores to request no food or drink to be consumed within the store. I know this comment is a year old, but I recently had a very bad experience with Chanel customer service (over a freaking lipstick!) and will not be purchasing anything from them, at least for a while.
