When activating the chronograph the seconds hand can skip up to 10 seconds instantly. After that, everything else functions normally. Question, Sometimes I activate the second hand on my speedy, no real reason, I just like it. Someone once commented it's not supposed to go round, unless.Take the movement out. Touch the second hand (gently) with a piece of pegwood. If it moves easily you’ll know. It should be “tight” on the post and not move with a gentle touch. Thankfully, it's simply an issue of the hand not being placed on the post correctly instead of being something wrong with the mechanism. Because of that it's a really quick fix. Still, if you have to work through Omega to resolve it, I could see it taking months just given their workload and transit, etc.
