The dial is gorgeous: matte textured, applied indices with tons of lume, and just a small hint of orange. All this surrounded by a matte bezel. The combination of all these .
The Omega Planet Ocean, this first generation, at 42mm, is truly an under appreciated, and under valued watch. It is a great watch that is not over bearing, has great . While it is still and won't be considered a cheap watch, but I highly suggest those of you who doesn't like the bezel of the Seamasters, and not willing or can't spend that much .,395.00,650.00

The dial is gorgeous: matte textured, applied indices with tons of lume, and just a small hint of orange. All this surrounded by a matte bezel. The combination of all these elements is just perfect to my eye, and makes me forget the weight and size completely. The Omega Planet Ocean, this first generation, at 42mm, is truly an under appreciated, and under valued watch. It is a great watch that is not over bearing, has great looks, wears nicely, and is both sporty and can be somewhat dressy as well should you wish so.
While it is still and won't be considered a cheap watch, but I highly suggest those of you who doesn't like the bezel of the Seamasters, and not willing or can't spend that much for a submariner, try this Planet Ocean out instead. Crafted in titanium, this Planet Ocean sports a 43.5mm case along with a grey silicon nitride ceramic bezel with orange rubber and Liquidmetal diving scale. Compared to its 45.5mm counterpart, this 43.5mm case is a more restrained approach to an everyday luxury sports watch. The 120-click coin-edged unidirectional bezel is one of the aesthetic markers and tactile standouts of the Planet Ocean line, joined with the signature helium escape valve at 10 o’clock which has carried through into every Planet Ocean watch. I've been getting the itch lately for a new watch and have been looking at this model of PO (the 232.90.42.21.03.001), it's the 42mm titanium version with the 8500 movement.
Most similar to the blue dial/blue bezel Planet Ocean GMT, the GoodPlanet version has the bezel hour markers done in orange as well as the GMT hand in full orange. This watch is still available as are all the 43.5mm GMT models, though they are certainly starting to feel a little dated as the non-METAS certified caliber 8605 movement is . The first-generation 42mm model on a bracelet with an orange bezel is still a great first taste of the Planet Ocean. Additional favorites of mine were found on Daniel Craig’s wrist in Quantum of Solace and Skyfall . Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep. Its lighter construction, mandatory looped “manta” lugs, and the factory NATO strap serve the remaining “actual diver” marketplace that hasn’t already selected a Seiko for value or a Rolex for status. A full steel bracelet is the only bracelet offered. The dial is gorgeous: matte textured, applied indices with tons of lume, and just a small hint of orange. All this surrounded by a matte bezel. The combination of all these elements is just perfect to my eye, and makes me forget the weight and size completely.
