The bezel does fit over the crystal retaining ring so isn’t pressed directly into the case as I wrote earlier. In fact I’ve now read that a 5 digit exp II can be converted into having a rotating GMT Master bezel as they have the same case. The bezel on the 16570 also keeps the crystal gasket in place, and a perfect fit is a must to ensure waterproofness (is that really a word?). You remove the bezel with a removal tool, and need a press to put it back on.

It is important to know what your personal tolerances are for original parts.Got myself a Rolex Explorer II 16570. The watch is in excellent condition except this scratch. I cant even call this a scratch, its like a wax scratch on a car body, that is very shallow. But it bothers me a bit. Can RSC or LAWW take care of it or just order a new bezel?
